Platinum end release date and cast revealed

The animated adaptation of the popular manga series End Platinum officially has a release date, with the series announcing that it will debut in just two months alongside new cast information.

End Platinum airs October 7 on TBS and October 8 on BS11 in Japan (via Anime news network), with the series scheduled to run for 24 episodes uninterrupted through March 2022. Crunchyroll will air the entire anime this fall, so international fans looking to see the action unfold won’t have to wait too long.

Along with the release news, two new cast members were announced. Kaori Made will take on the role of Mimi Yamada, while Shōya Chiba will play Mizukiyo Minamikawa in the upcoming anime.

The casting for End Platinum also includes:

  • Tomoaki maeno as Hajime Sokotani
  • Hikaru Midorikawa like white

“As her classmates celebrate their high school graduation, the troubled Mirai is mired in darkness,” says the official description of VIZ. “But his battle has only just begun when he receives salvation from above in the form of an angel. Now Mirai is pitted against 12 other chosen humans in a battle in which the victor becomes the next god of the world. Mirai has an angel in her corner, but he may have to become a devil to survive.

Hideya Takahashi, known for his work on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: The Golden Wind, directed End Platinum. The anime adaptation will come from the Signal.MD studio. Shinichi Inotsume will compose while Koji Oodate will take care of character design.

End Platinum is a manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. It was serialized in Jump Square between November 2014 and January 2021.
