Nick Offerman Joins Hulu’s Pam & Tommy Limited Series

According to The Wrap, Parks and recreation Former Nick Offerman has officially signed on to star in Hulu’s latest limited series Pam and Tommy, centered on rocker Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson’s relationship in the ’90s. This marks Offerman’s last TV project after starring in FX on Hulu’s sci-fi thriller miniseries Developers which debuted last year.

The 50-year-old comic actor will play Uncle Miltie, who is a legendary prolific porn impresario. The description of his character reads as follows: “Tall, beefy Uncle Miltie brings his larger-than-life stature to the workplace to keep things alive and real. Known as “the money guy,” he helps disgruntled electrician Rand distribute the sex tape. A sociopath at the limit, Uncle Miltie walks along a line between humorous and horrible.

Pam and Tommy tells the story of the tumultuous relationship between drummer / co-founder of Motley Crüe and former Baywatch star / model, including the notorious incident in which their honeymoon sex tape was stolen and then leaked to the public. Although included, the story will not focus on the scandal but rather explore their relationship dating back to their marriage after only 96 hours of knowing.

The 8-episode miniseries will be directed by Sebastian Stan (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) as Tommy Lee and Lily James (Baby driver) like Pamela Anderson. They will be joined by Seth Rogen (It is the end) like the man who stole the couple’s sex tape and sold it.

Pam and Tommy will be directed by Craig Gillespie, who previously worked with Stan in the acclaimed 2017 film Me, Tonya, from a screenplay written by Rob Siegel. Rogen will also produce the project with his Point Gray partner Evan Goldberg via their banner alongside Dylan Sellers via Limelight, Dave Franco and Sue Naele and Megan Ellison in Annapurna. Sources report that Rogen and Goldberg’s Point Gray are spearheading the project and showcased it to the streaming platform.
