Today’s Recommendation is a 1993 American romantic black comedy film, directed by Thomas Schlamme and starring Mike Myers and Nancy Travis and the late great Phil Hartman as the unforgettable role of Vicky.
Right after a bad breakup, Charlie MacKenzie (Mike Myers) falls in love with the lovely butcher Harriet Michaels (Nancy Travis) and introduces her to her parents. But, as voracious consumers of sensational tabloids, her parents soon come to suspect that Harriet is in fact a notorious serial killer – “Mrs. X” – wanted as part of a bizarre honeymoon murder spree. .
