Dwayne Johnson is working hard to prepare for his DC Extended Universe debut in Black adam, but that hasn’t stopped fans from hoping to see the iconic actor in a Marvel Cinematic Universe role. Talk to Collider in a new interview, Hiram Garcia, president of production for Seven Bucks Productions, has hinted that Johnson has spoken to Marvel in the past.

When asked if Johnson and his team, including Garcia, had ever been contacted by Marvel, Garcia noted that Johnson and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had spoken, but nothing ever came to fruition. more serious talks.
“DJ and Kevin [Feige] have a great relationship and we’ve flirted with a few ideas already, but nothing serious, ”Garcia said. “There is a mutual admiration for what we’ve all done and what Kevin has built there is really amazing. At the end of the day, for us, we’ve always been very committed to what we want to build with Black Adam. Black Adam was the character we wanted to bring to life and thought DJ was meant to play. Once we set our sights on this character over a decade ago, it was hard to imagine DJ playing with anyone else.

While it’s clear that Johnson isn’t quite ready to make his debut in the world of Marvel films just yet, it’s not impossible that we will one day see the legendary actor in this universe. For now, however, Johnson seems focused on reigning the DC Extended Universe when Black adam spear.
