Demon Slayer returns in October for Mugen Train Arc adaptation

Demon slayer is officially expected to return later this year, with Funimation confirming that the Mugen train arch will be broadcast on its platform from next month.

Demon Slayer: Mugen’s Train Bow will begin airing on Funimation on October 10, 2021 and adapt the popular film into a seven-episode arc. Even if you’ve seen the movie, there will be a reason to log in as the Mugen train arch will feature 70 additional scenes, new music tracks, new opening and ending animations, and themed songs.

The arc also aims to connect the Unwavering Resolve arc with the upcoming Entertainment District Arc. It will also feature an unreleased original episode of Kyojuro Rengoku undertaking a new mission on the way to the Mugen train.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The movie: Mugen Train is directed by Haruo Sotozaki. Aniplex of America and Funimation handled the film’s distribution for Australia, North America, UK and Australia. Demon slayer began as a manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020.
